the extraordinary dr. poriss

hilary p is one of my favorite people EVER and she has new boots too! she bought one pair of cozy warm boots and one nice pair for more formal functions (kind of like me!). they are both fabulous. the black ones are la canadienne, and i don't remember who makes the cute fuzzy ones. dr. poriss accientally shipped the zappos box containing the black boots to my house. hmmm...are there really any accidents?

(fyi the brown dog is goopy. he has a crush on little hedgehog guy, but lhg is too busy looking at boots to notice).

After reading your blog, I really wanted to get Michaela and Charlotte some winter boots (I bought Alison some snow clogs a year or two ago). Michaela informed me that the boots she has are all she needs and Charlotte thinks that her rain boots with heavy socks do the job! So I am quite frustrated. What's a mother to do?

Did lhg meet goopy in Italy? I looked at boxing boots on Zappos. Very cute. Hi to hp. mamá

janet, don't worry, if you ever have the urge to buy something and nobody to buy for...i'm here for you! seriously though, i don't think rain boots and heavy socks are warm enough!

little hedgehog guy didn't get to go to italy. he met goopy when goopy and hp and chris lived in my place in the summer.

My boots have the ol' no-tread problem, so they're more like ice skates without any blades. Great for sliding around, crashing into things, and suffering blunt trauma to the everything. I think yours are better.

well travis, i think they might make the juicy boots with the snowflake in your size... ;)

Yuck! There is nothing fabulous about either pair of those boots you have pics of!! MAYBE they would be ok for children. The short, "formal" boots look like something out of the 80's, while the knee high boots remind me of something from Star Wars. I'm also not so fond of those flower flip flop looking shoes. Sorry, I searched for boots and your blog showed up. I realize it is winter but dear lord!! Don't call them fabulous!
