my harvard sweatpants. these are not just any sweatpants! they are new, gray, cute, and say 'harvard' down the leg.one of the students in our class commented that i looked tired. then he said "maybe it's just that i haven't seen you in your sweats before." humph! do you know what this means, guys? this means i am OLD. no more sweats for me! i hope the students like my santa hat.

My latest (a 26-yr-old Sicilian archaeologist) complained that every time I turn up to his place, I am wearing green Chuck Taylors, Levis jeans and either my Columbia hoodie (you know the one!) or my "new" Harvard hoodie (purchased so I wouldn't wear my CU sweatshire every day!). He says it makes me look like a student rather than the grown-up I apparently am. Yes, definitely the undergrad code-- OR the uniform of the overworked grad student! No wonder it suits us!
