this sunday mimi turned 88 years old. rimmy thinks that's still very young, since he's 98 in dog years and still playing with his toys. mimi looked fabulous for her brunch party, and janet made not one, but two cakes. i was jealous until i found out that one of the cakes was for betty, who had to miss her original birthday party due to illness. that's a relief, because choosing between a coconut cake and a carrot cake would be tough! for my birthday, i'm going to need two cakes too: one for me, and one for everyone else.

The Mimi /Betty birthday party was very nice and attended by all the McDonalds presently in Maine-Janet,Peter,and Charlotte- Steve,Marin,Heidi and Deborah, Combined they have lived a total of 176 years so next time we are thinking of ignoring their advice i guess we had better think twice.Hillary, there is a piece of Janets' world famous coconut cake waiting for you in Mimis' freezer.She made sure she kept her promise to save you a piece.
