HELP: what does 60 degrees feel like??

i need some help!
apparently the average temperature in roma right now is 60 during the day and 45 at night. i don't really know what that feels like...it seems like here in new england it's either hot or cold. what do you wear when it's 60 degrees?

I voted for jeans and a sweater, but you really need the t-shirt underneath so you can take off the sweater in the 60s. That's how it was in SF and we wore jeans with just shirts and sometimes a light jacket. It feels really good to be in weather like that! Bon voyage! A skirt without tights would probably be fine, too.

I second the vote for layers. Living in Minnesota, that has been my mantra for the last 6 years. Although right now, it's just, how many layers can I put on and still be able to wear my winter coat? By the way, I'm very jealous!

yeah, layers! i voted for "jeans and a t-shirt," specifically a milo in maine t-shirt. but then i'm thinking also a lightweight sweater and/or jacket. also, if you go with a skirt, i'd say yes to tights. ahhh, 60 degrees...

I'm always cold so wanted to vote for both a cashmere sweater and a light jacket, but since I wasn't allowed I voted for the jacket. Maybe I'm overreacting, though, and have just forgotten how it feels to be warm.

I would wear a cashmere sweater but ONLY that. No, probably some hotpants as well. Debbie and Marin are in the other room discussing what you can wear...I am sure that their suggestions are going to be more helpful.

It was 60 here last week and 60 is FANTASTIC - so much better than 20! Have a great trip!

Hi Hillary,
You are always freezing so remember that this is chilly weather. I spent 1 month in Rome in March back in pre-global warming days but it was chilly. My advice is go to Paris buy 1 fab outfit and wear it all the time!!!!
Or chic trench coat, with knee high boots and cashmere underpants of course!!!
Bon Voyage you lucky pato!!!!
