i woke up, and rome was outside my window

yesterday was mimi's birthday and today i woke up and it was spring in rome. i went outside and there were tiny flowers and little chirping birds. it was like i got on a plane and flew to paradise.

i've been to rome quite a few times now but i guess this is the first time with my eyes open.

i took a long walk to all the places i remembered to make sure they were still there. the place i like to buy socks had moved, but i found it. a restaurant that i liked moved closer. i couldn't find the pantheon but i found the gelato place near it. first things first!

Oh, this reinforces my desire to go to Italy!!! If I could go one place tomorrow, that's where I'd pick, but I may just have to settle for the Biddeford T J Maxx instead...or maybe just Bay View Drive! Have a wonderful time!

Well hello Hillary. Your comments on Rome do bring back long ago memories. How i wish i were there with you.Are there any attractive composers pray tell and are you going out at night? if you ever walk on Via Monte del Gallo that is where Laurinda and I stayed.
There is a resounding silence about any possible purchases????? I cant imagine being in Paris or Rome and not getting a little something that is fashionable.
I am glad you remembered Mimis birthday. Juliana will make a banana cake in her honor.Tell me what you are doing there exactly and did you bring the right clothes for the weather there? lots of luv from AD
